OBIEE 12c: BI Server Is Frequently Crashing With Error SAGetSharedRequestKey

Symptoms
After upgrading to 12.2.1.4, the obis1 is frequently crashing and users are signed out of the session. Users would need to restart the services to get it working and after sometimes obis crashes again.
In the obis1.out log it is seen that the process was executing a query calling SAGetSharedRequestKey
This was working fine in OBIEE 12.2.1.2

Upgraded to OBIEE 12.2.1.0
