Symptoms
You encountered an issue where many (4000+) sockets build up in CLOSE_WAIT status (as identified by 'lsof' command) on port 9502.
When this occurs the AdminServer stops responding and has to be restarted. This may occur multiple times a day.
There is no resource (CPU/MEM) contention/utilization observed and operating system limits (ulimit) are configured appropriately.
Users are able to access and use Oracle Business Intelligence without issue.
