This document is only relevant to EPM 11.2 versions prior to 11.2.5.
Goal
Each Oracle EPM 11.2 system is shipped with the Java 8 JDK, which incorporates the highest available patch level (i.e. time of pre-release code freeze). With Oracle EPM 11.2.2, the JDK shipped with the system installer is jdk1.8.0_181. Over time, it might be required to patch the JDK due to security vulnerabilities. This document provides the steps to update your existing version of the JDK to a more recent version and applies to all EPM Products. If your product is not specifically mentioned, then it probably does not require any additional steps besides those mentioned in the provided solution.
