Symptoms

In a distributed environment, any Web Application Service not on the same server as the Weblogic Admin Server/Foundation Server, will fail to deploy with error:

weblogic.management.ManagementException: [Deployer:149003]Unable to access application source information in "<drive>:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\<product>\AppServer\InstallableApps\Common\<product>.ear" for application "<product>". The specific error is: No application files exist.

Example:

[Deployer:149003]Unable to access application source information in "<drive>:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\Planning\AppServer\InstallableApps\Common\HyperionPlanning.ear" for application "HyperionPlanning". The specific error is: No application files exist.">
