Analytics Application Not Accessible After Upgrading Java Version To 1.7.0_271 (Doc ID 2737152.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading the Java to 1.7.0_271 version by following the steps mentioned in the document - Oracle Business Intelligence EE 11.1.1.9 System Administrators Guide Section 3.1.1 Updating the Java Development Kit (JDK) -  https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/11119/biee/BIESG/configsettings.htm#BIESG9065, the analytics URL is not accessible and received the below error.

Error 500--Internal Server Error

 

Found the below entries in bi_server1-diagnostic.log

oracle.bi.security.service.IdentityStoreProviderException: oracle.security.idm.OperationFailureException: oracle.ods.virtualization.service.VirtualizationException: oracle.ods.virtualization.engine.util.DirectoryException: LDAP Error 2 : simple bind failed: <HOSTNAME>:<PORT>

at oracle.bi.security.service.URIdentityStoreProvider.getUserProfileHolder(URIdentityStoreProvider.java:382)

at oracle.bi.security.service.SystemUserValidator.validateSystemUserProfile(SystemUserValidator.java:224)

......

Caused by: javax.naming.CommunicationException: simple bind failed: <HOSTNAME>:<PORT> [Root exception is javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: No appropriate protocol (protocol is disabled or cipher suites are inappropriate)]
