Symptoms
After upgrading Oracle database to 19c, SQL/IF dataloads fail with the error:
ODBC Layer Error: [S1000] ==> [[DataDirect][ODBC Oracle Wire Protocol driver][Oracle]ORA-28040: No matching authentication protocol]
ODBC Layer Error: Native Error code [28040]
Failed to Establish Connection With SQL Database Server. See log for more information
