Symptoms
In Data Visualization, create a dataset using Direct SQL.
Note the dataset results shows no data. The same SQL however works and generated data in DB Client:

Steps to reproduce:
1. In Data Visualization, create a results set that uses direct SQL that will union 2 tables.
2. Note that no data is returned but same SQL generates results in the database client.
