Union Operation In OBIEE Report With Action Link Passes Column Value From First Report Only (Doc ID 2757844.1)

A report using an union and an action link on one of the columns to navigate to another detailed analysis always passes the value from the first report of the union. 

Replication Steps:

Create 4 reports. For e.g:

1. Product details
2. Order details
3. Two union reports - i. One where Orders is on top of union. ii. Another report where Orders is on top of union.

The requirement was to navigate from total to details using action links. In the report, where Orders are there in the top of union, after navigating to a detailed report via action link, it works for orders & gives unique values but not for Products. The same happens vise versa when Product is on the top of union & Orders is down.
