Symptoms

As soon as accessing analytics page in browser URL, users see following error message in Login screen prior to providing user credentials. However login will be successful if correct credentials are used.

Unable to Sign in - An error occurred during authentication. Try again later or contact your service administrator.

Changes

In OAS environment if the lightweight SSO is disabled either manually from EM or after in place upgrade from OBIEE 12.2.1.4, presumably if the lightweight SSO is disabled prior to upgrade.
