The Hidden Dashboard Page Hides All Other Dashboard Pages. (Doc ID 2770956.1)

Applies to:

Oracle Analytics Server - Version 5.5.0.0.201216 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In Oracle Analytics Server (OAS),  have a dashboard with multiple pages.

Create a start page (xyz) with action links to all other pages in this dashboard to direct end users to the correct dashboard page.

Set the Index page(xyz) as visible. All other pages are set to hide.

If we open the xyz Page the name of the page or all other pages are hidden.

This is expected behavior, since there is only one page that is not hidden there is no reason to show the name of the page.

But when  click on an action link (abc) .

Now we would expect to see two different page names;(xyz) and (abc).

Because (xyz) is not hidden and  (abc) is the page we are on.

However, in OAS we don't see on which page we are.

Due to this we don't have a  solution to redirect the user back to the (xyz)  page and therefore to another hidden page.
