When we try to create a prompt based on the formula ie. case when "Products.Product Number" in ('a.a.a') then 1 end or case when "Products.Product Number" in ('a.a') then 1 end

First the prompt gets created successfully. After you save the prompt and edit it, the subject area becomes Invalid.

Steps to replicate the issue:

  1. Create a new Dashboard Column Prompt based on any available column from the subject area.
  2. Click on column formula ie.f(x) and keep the formula as case when "Products"."Product Number" in ('a.a.a') then '1' end
  3. Click on OK.
  4. Now Click on the edit button of the prompt
  5. Click on f(x) of the column where case when "Products"."Product Number" in ('a.a.a') then '1' end
  6. Observe that the Subject Area becomes Invalid.
  7. Click on Ok and you can see the below error
