At the step#5 of "Installing New RCU Schemas In the New Oracle Database" in Note:2177562.1 How To Change Your OBIEE Connections When You Have Moved Your RCU Database To A New Host, you can choose to keep the new 'opss-data-source_NEW' or delete it.

5.After the process is complete, you can either (both ways mentioned below have been tested):

          a) Keep the data source you created in Weblogic since OBIEE is using that one now to connect to the security store

          b) Update the original connection for OPSS in Weblogic console to reflect the connection information of the new database.
Once the change is made, stop OBIEE instance, start it and connect to Analytics. You should be able to successfully connect to Analytics.

Then you can go to the Weblogic console and delete the new connection you created to do the reassociation of the security store.

If you delete the 'opss-data-source_NEW' from Weblogic console, when you connect to Analytics page, it will fail with HTTP 500 error.

So additional steps required to configure the original connection for OPSS or b).
