Migrating Catalog Only The Shared Folders Via Snapshot Loses Map Layer Content And Removes Users Folders From Target

Symptoms
Using Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) to migrate catalog content via snapshots, you encounter problems following these steps:
- Take a full snapshot from Source environment.
- Download snapshot.
- Upload snapshot to Target environment.
- Restore snapshot on Target environment selecting 'Replace Everything' = This works OK.
- Take a full snapshot from Source environment.
- Download snapshot.
- Upload snapshot to Target environment
- Restore snapshot on Target environment choosing 'Custom'
Uncheck everything, except 'Classic Content', 'Catalog Content' -- Shared folders is checked by default, make sure 'User Folders' are unchecked.
Two issues manifest.
- Analysis are working, but maps are failing to display with this error.
- When you navigate to the Catalog in the Target system, the 'User Folders' are empty (removed).
In 'User View', 'My Folders' is missing.
in 'Admin View', 'User Folders' is missing.
