Symptoms
After connecting to an Essbase database, the first ad-hoc query is taking 3 or more minutes then fails with the error "Cannot set cube view properties. Essbase Error(1013295): Server Request Fails with error code [1042017]".
All subsequent queries complete successfully in seconds.
The apsserver.log has the following error:
Unable to connect to Essbase Studio , URL <EssbaseStudioServer>:5300 Error from Essbase Studio : api.CPException.networkError
