OBIA 12c: 'ORA-00904: "POS"."ATTRIBUTE1": invalid identifier' While Running SDE_ORAR122_ADAPTOR_SDE_ORA_HRPOSITIONDIMENSION
(Doc ID 2813902.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 05, 2024
Applies to:
Business Intelligence Applications Consumer - Version 11.1.1.10.3 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
OBIA 11.1.1.10.3 (12c) with PB1 "OBIA BUNDLE PATCH 12.2.1.3.200808"
BIACM metadata was imported from OBIA 11.1.1.10.2 export.
After having implemented OBIA 11.1.1.10.3 (OBIA 12c), executed the domain load, performed the functional configurations and mappings and running the first full load.
While running the first full load, session SDE_ORAR122_ADAPTOR_SDE_ORA_HRPOSITIONDIMENSION failed at step "120 - Load data - LKM BIAPPS SQL to Oracle (Extensible)" on the source with the following error:
The executed source code, shows that for the flexfield-related columns it is using "POS" as the table alias whereas for the rest of the columns from the same subquery, the alias name is "POS_SQ_POSITIONS" hence the failure.
Another noticed is with the previous step ("110 - Create work object - LKM BIAPPS SQL to Oracle (Extensible)") which although it is not ending in error, it is not adding the flexfield-related columns which should be inserted via the following substitution: (<$=selectFlexColList$>).
Seems like the LKM is using the contents of W_FLEX_COLUMN_G.COLUMN_CONTEXT_CASE to add for each DFF/attribute column to the source SQL to extract from EBS.
The values of W_FLEX_COLUMN_G FOR FLEXFIELD_TYPE= 'DESCRIPTIVE' and FLEXFIELD_CODE= 'PER_POSITIONS'.
Changes
New OBIA 12c installation/configuration.
