Last updated on SEPTEMBER 03, 2024

Applies to:

Business Intelligence Server Enterprise Edition - Version 12.2.1.4.210714 and later
Oracle Analytics Server - Version 5.5.0.0.210922 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

OAS/OBIEE is configured with SSL. Ref: OBIEE 12c/OAS: How To Configure SSL Including Examples(Doc ID 2188982.1).

Then configured the setup to get secure cookies for the OAS/OBIEE application.
How To Configure Secure Cookies In Oracle Business Intelligence and Oracle Analytics Server(Doc ID 1676542.1)

All cookies related to analytics are marked secure, except JSESSIONID coming from weblogic.

This is expected, JSESSIONID is always not secure. SSL configuration should automatically generate another cookie _WL_AUTH_COOKIE as secure cookie. But it is not showing up.

Verified whether Auth cookie is enabled in Weblogic Console.(Console> Domain > bi > webapplications). It is enabled. But there is no secure cookie.
