Purpose
This document provides comprehensive steps to be followed to
1. Deploy Oracle Analytics Server on OCI Marketplace
2. Create OCI Loadbalancer to access OAS and Configure SSL for the Loadbalancer
3. Configure Single Sign-On for OAS using IDCS
Below is the deployment architecture followed in this document.
Scope
The main purpose of the document is to provide complete end to end steps for deploying Oracle Analytics Server on OCI Marketplace, Configure Load Balancer, SSL and IDCS SSO , Any issues while implementing these steps are not necessarily handled by OAS product support Group. Based the issue the appropriate support team to be involved like OCI Loadbalancer , IDCS , OCI Networking, OCI Compute Instance , WebLogic for any external Providers, etc.
This document is informational and intended for Administrators and Advanced Users.
This document covers very basic and typical flow of using Loadbalancer with SSL and OAS with IDCS SSO.
This document does not cover all the implementation scenarios.
This document is intended as a "cookbooK" enhancement to the documentation to fill in any gaps, missing or ambiguous information and to tie multiple documentation together in one location. It is not meant to replace the official documentation.
