Symptoms
You have applied the July 2021 Critical Patch Update to your RCU database and enabled Native Network Encryption (NNE).
After this change, some components in Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) or Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI/OBIEE) may not start.
You observe the following failures in the logs:
ORA-00609: could not attach to incoming connection
ORA-12269: client uses weak encryption/crypto-checksumming version
Note: The ORA-XXXX errors listed could potentially occur on non-RCU databases where you have enabled NNE , such as your datas source database where you query and consume data via the repository connection pools (RPD) or data visualization connections.
