Restrictions On Linking Shared Files in Dashboard (Doc ID 2886147.1)

Symptoms

After adding a link to a shard file in 'Links or Image', the link will not work properly when using Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Firefox.

Steps to Reproduce:

1.Create a new link as following in a dashboard:

Link or Image Properties
Caption: filelink
Destination: URL
\\xxx.xxx.xx.xx\shared\text.xlsx

Target: New Window

2.Open the dashboard and click the filelink in browser.
