Symptoms
You are using Descriptor ID column in Oracle Analytics Server (OAS ) data visualization (DV), then creating a "Data Action" to navigate to Analytics using this column as a filter, it fails to capture the corresponding value of the column.
The Descriptor ID or double column is very useful in OAS analyses, and it works perfectly when drilling from a summary report to a detail repor. It passes the ID column with its value. While in a DV workbook, the same steps the outcome uses the base column with the ID value which is incorrect.
