SAML Based BIEE SSO Instance Logout Issue (Doc ID 2888177.1)

Symptoms


For OBIEE instance, SSO is working as expected. The issue is specific to logging out.

When a user who is logged into the BI application clicks on the 'Sign Out' link provided on the BI application, it sends the logout request to the SSO server and the user's SSO session is destroyed.
However, if they navigate back to the BI application, their Oracle BI session still exists; the user is still logged in.
The issue here is clicking on the 'Sign Out' link is only destroying the SSO server session, but not the BI application's session.
