Essbase 21c Windows: Failed to create application [<application name>] -- Cannot create application and database in Web Interface. (Doc ID 2892265.1)

Symptoms

Getting below error when creating an Application and Database in the Essbase Web Interface (Jet).

Steps:

1. Move to "Applications".

2. Select "Create"

3. In "Create Application/Database" window , enter the Application Name and Database Name.

4. Click "OK", and then, get the error: "Failed to create application [<application name>]"

Changes

 Essbase was recently installed on Windows Server 2019
