PKIX Path Building Failed Error , When Try To Activate SSL configuration changes for bi_server1 In The WLS Console (Doc ID 2902778.1)

Symptoms

 End to End SSL configuration for BI.

 AdminServer and Nodemanger is configured with SSL. There is no issue.

 Updated the following changes for managed server, bi_server1 in weblogic console.

     Environment > Servers> bi_server1 > Keystores with Custom Identity and Custom Trust information.

     Environment > Servers > bi_server1 > SSL with Custom Identity private key information.

Activating the above changes in Weblogic Console is throwing the following error -

Message icon - Error [Deployer:149150]An IOException occurred while reading the input.; nested exception is: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target; nested exception is: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
