Symptoms

After updating Java on the Essbase Server machine, the Weblogic Admin Server no longer starts.

AdminServer.out contains following message:

The JRE was not found in directory /usr/java/jdk1.8.0_301-amd64. (JAVA_HOME)
Please edit your environment and set the JAVA_HOME
variable to point to the root directory of your Java installation.
