Can the schema users created by the RCU utility be blocked/deactivated after EPM configuration?
In a EPM 11.2.x installation database schema's have to be created by the Repository Creation Utility (RCU).
Are the schema users created by the RCU only being used at initial setup of the EPM environment?
We have a situation where the dba wants to harden security and deactivate unused database/schema users.
I am talking about users like:
_STB
_OPSS
_UMS
_IAU
_IAU_APPEND
_IAU_VIEWER
_MDS
_WLS
Some users are still being used by the system if we look at last_login (like _STB, _IAU_APPEND, _IAU_VIEWER ad _OPSS)
So please a brief explanation about these users and their functions and if we can deactivated some of them.
