OBIA 12c: Not Able To Reverse Engineer Synonyms In ODI Studio (Doc ID 2919681.1)

Symptoms

OBIA 12c PS3 with EBS source.

After running reverse engineering synonyms from source attributes are not visible.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. In ODI Studio > DESIGNER > Open the Model
  2. In the Reverse Engineer side tab
  3. Select Customized and Synonym
  4. Click Reverse Engineer
  5. Open the data store generated
  6. Click Attributes side tab

Notice the synonyms are not listed
