Symptoms

User Management done using Automated MaxL Script with below commands, generating errors in Essbase 21c version. The same script worked in earlier 11.1.2.x versions.

MAXL> create or replace user <user_name> type External;
 ERROR - 1051499 - Replace user command is not supported in Shared Services mode, Use Replace external user command.

MAXL> alter user <user_name> add to group <group_name>;
 ERROR - 1051734 - Operation not supported, authentication is managed by Fusion Middleware in this version of Essbase.
