Error "NQSError 16001 Data Source Name Too Long" When Creating An Agent in OBIEE 12c (Doc ID 2925867.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to create an agent in Analytics the following error is thrown:


[nQSError: 16001] ODBC error state: IM010 code: 0 message: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name too long.. Errors were encountered while initializing Scheduler's backend database, check database configuration.
