Symptoms


Oracle Analytics Server 2023 Repository Creation Utility Fails with the following errors:-

oracle.sysman.assistants.common.dbutil.jdbc.JDBCEngine::connect: Connecting to database: user: DEV_BIPLATFORM , connectString:jdbc:weblogic:sqlserver://localhost:1433;DatabaseName=OAS_REP;allowPortWithNamedInstance=true
mm.dd.yyyy ERROR assistants.rcu.backend.action.AbstractAction: oracle.sysman.assistants.rcu.backend.action.AbstractAction::handleNonIgnorableError: Received Non-Ignorable Error: Total 1 schema plugins failed:
(1) Schema plugin: com.oracle.bi.datarefresh.schema.DataRefreshSchema failed: Migration failed !

mm.dd.yyyy ERROR assistants.rcu.backend.task.ActualTask: oracle.sysman.assistants.rcu.backend.task.ActualTask::run: RCU Operation Failed
oracle.sysman.assistants.common.task.TaskExecutionException:
ERROR - RCU-6135 Error while executing Java action.
CAUSE - RCU-6135 An error occurred while trying to execute Java action.
ACTION - RCU-6135 Check the java action for the component or contact the system administrator.

Changes

 Installing OAS with Microsoft SQL Server Express Edition or any Edition other than Enterprise Edition.
