Application crashes immediately after Essbase load from ODBC (Redshift) source

Loading data using MaxL to an ASO cube from an ODBC (Redshift) source; load succeeds, buffer commit is successfully recorded in the log, but application immediately crashes afterward (log messages in MaxL, no XCP generated), Application seems healthy, after being restarted, but this obviously interferes with automation. Log messages in MaxL output:

ERROR - 1040145 - NZERROR: nzos_Read failed (28862)
ERROR - 1042013 - Network error [1040145]: Failed to receive data.
ERROR - 1040144 - NZERROR: nzos_Write failed (28862)
ERROR - 1042012 - Network error [1040144]: Failed to send data.
ERROR - 1241101 - Unexpected Essbase error 1042013.
