EPM 11.2.15/Essbase 21C. Active Directory User Logging into Essbase Jet UI Receives Error "User - <user ID> does not exist in Shared Service Security, hence this user is not allowed to login in CSS mode." (Doc ID 2992524.1)

Symptoms

Essbase 21c in EPM 11.2.15 environment. All services (FR, Foundation and Essbase 21C) configured on a single server.
MSAD user can log into EPM w/out issue. Same user logging into Essbase Jet UI is unable to log in unless the username@domain syntax is used when logging in.

Essbase Security Log shows error message:

  User - [username] does not exist in Shared Service Security, hence this user is not allowed to login in CSS mode.
