Goal

Oracle Business Intelligence/OAS can use Active Directory as the Authentication Provider, so users can log-into OBIEE using their Windows Active Directory username and password, and retrieve group membership.

In a real business scenario, the user wants to connect to an external set of database tables that contain the group membership for users authenticated through Active Directory.

The purpose of this document is an EXAMPLE to examine how to get group membership from DB in a OBIEE environment that using AD authentication.
