Information in this document applies to any platform.

Note: This refers to REST API /essbase/rest/v1/applications/{applicationName}/databases/{databaseName}/dataload

When performing a dataload using REST API streaming dataload, an error occurs:

Following error occurs:
  "errorMessage" : "Cannot send string extended. Out of memory.",
  "errorCode" : 400

The issue only happens with when a large amount of records are being loaded. With a smaller amount of records, there is no error and dataload completes.

When performing the same dataload using MaxL or Essbase UI, the dataload completes without error.
