Date Filter in DV Does Not Default to Current Date in Oracle Analytics Server (Doc ID 3029562.1)

Symptoms

When creating a new workbook, you drag a date field to the filter region of the canvas. The month in the selector defaults to the earliest month in the source data, but you want it to default to the current date or month.
