Total Row Value Is Incorrect and Randomly Changes With Sort Order in Analytics

Symptoms
You have created a formula with conditions such as Case or If and are using a data source that does not have an aggregation method defined on it.
You are using this formula in a Classic Analysis or DV Workbook Table or Pivot Table.
Default Aggregation is set on that column to produce a Total Row.
The Total Row values for that column are not correct and are not explained by Sum, Average or any other function.
Changing the sort order of the rows may even change the value of the Total Row, but the values are still deemed to be incorrect.
