Symptoms
On (an out-of-place) migration from OBIEE 12c to OAS ...
A BAR file is created (using exportarchive.sh) from the OBIEE 12c environment where the users' home directories in the web catalog have been hashed to a level of 3. The web catalog is significantly large in size due to the relatively large number of users (home directories) and other shared content.
The BAR file is imported (using importarchive.sh) into an OAS 2023 environment, during which the web catalog is (automatically) rehashed to a level of 0, and eventually completes successfully (with significant time taken for the migration of the web catalog).
The above process is repeated some time later in preparation to Go Live, but this subsequent import "hangs" and never completes (neither fails nor succeeds). From review of the import logs, (metadatalcm_op_run.log, rehashlog.txt, webcat_content_plugin.*.*.log, contentstorage_plugin.log, etc.) it is observed that the migration has progressed up to but not beyond the Content Storage (CSS) plugin.
