Symptoms
When running a drill-through report from Smart View with an alias that contains German umlaut characters (öäü) or other non-US characters, an error occurs:
Failed to execute the drill-through request. Refer to the Provider Services logs for more details.
The error does not happen when no alias table is being used, or the alias table only contains US characters.
