Symptoms

In a distributed environment setup, Active Directory Users List Keeps on Loading Under Roles for Filter Assignment and they will never show up and Ping to the AD server will timeout

Getting below error in SharedServices_SecurityClient.log in Essbase folder

[essbase_server1] [ERROR] [EPMCSS-05856] [oracle.EPMCSS.CSS] [tid: ] [userId: ] [ecid:] [APP: ESSBASE] [partition-name: DOMAIN] [tenant-name: GLOBAL] [SRC_CLASS: com.hyperion.css.spi.util.jndi.pool.JNDIConnectionPool] [SRC_METHOD: validateSocketConnection] GET_PROV_INFO operation failed. Error initializing connection pool. Socket timed out connecting to host. Verify user directory configuration.
