Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) Hanging Due to WebLogic Process Being Killed by OOM Reaper (Doc ID 3074059.1)

Symptoms

Prevent OAS from hanging during login when the WebLogic process is terminated by OOM Reaper.

The WebLogic process (PID 28822) stopped unexpectedly, as seen in the log file (/bi_server1/logs/bi_server1.out).
The system logs (/var/log/messages) indicate that the process was terminated due to an Out-of-Memory (OOM) event.

The OOM Killer will only get invoked when the system is critically low on memory.
