Discoverer 10g Doesn't Pull Up Excel Automatically (Doc ID 307919.1)

Symptoms

Excel is not automatically launched when exporting from Discoverer Plus

There is no problems with the Export files themselves, only in the Excel Launching.

Discoverer Desktop is fine, this issue is only with Discoverer Plus.

The behavior is intermittent.

The following Note has been implemented without success:

Changes

Service Pack 2 on your Client PC has been recently installed.
