Workbooks Show Wrong Null Format in Viewer/Plus After New Install or Upgrade from 4i to 10.1.2

After recent upgrade from Discoverer 4.1 to Discoverer 10.1.2, or recent installation of Discoverer 10.1.2, the null values in worksheets are not showing the
In Discoverer Desktop and in the pref.txt file, null formats have been set to appear as blank.
When the workbook is run in Discoverer Desktop 4.1 and 10.1.2, the null values correctly show
blank - nothing listed in cell.
When the same workbook is run in Discoverer Plus/Viewer, version 10.1.2, the rows with null values now have the word "null" in the cell instead of just being blank.
