Symptoms

The capi.sh (Unix) and capi.bat (Windows) give the ability to bulk load Discoverer connections into the orasso schema.

Executing capi.sh or capi.bat script can fail with a security exception.

Syntax used:

<capi.sh|capi.bat> -connect "<uid/pwd>"-create_conn -sso_user "<sso_user>" -
AppsSSOEnabled "<true|false>" -type "<type>" -cname "<connectionname>" -cdesc "<description>" -
olap "<true|false>" -apps "<true|false>" -dbuser "<connection_username>" -dbpasswd "<password>" -eul
"<eul name>" -dbname "<connect string>"

 

 


Error message (security Exception):

Problem in Authenticating the request. Check Username/Password
