The following error can occur when connecting to Discoverer Plus or Viewer via an Oracle Applications E-Business (E-BIS) Personal Home Page (PHP) menu item or link:
- OracleBI Discoverer was unable to authenticate using the password provided. This can happen due
to an invalid password or because the password was lost while using back, forward, or refresh in
your browser. Please enter the password again to continue.
- Failed to connect to database - ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified.
A different error may occur when connecting directly from Discoverer Viewer or Plus connection page:
- Unable to connect, possibly due to an invalid Applications GWYUID setting please contact your
