Hyperion Planning Error: "User xxx Does Not Exist in the Domain or the Password is Incorrect" (Doc ID 736562.1)

The following error occurs when connecting to Hyperion Planning:

User xxx does not exist in the domain or the password is incorrect.

This error only occurs for Active Directory users, Native users can login to Planning without any error.


An external user directory had recently been registered with Shared Services.
