WDEF containing CellText clause do not work in if HFM environment is split

(Doc ID 736660.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 01, 2016

Applies to:

Hyperion Financial Management - Version: and later   [Release: 9.3 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In a WDEF containing "CellText:1" in the script, the user cannot enter or display CellText after applying <> (HFM Service Pack):

  • In Internet Explorer, the value is not displayed, and when you try to enter a new value you will get an error "Invalid entry" unless you use a numeric value; on submit, you will get an error.
  • In Firefox, the value is not displayed. if you enter a new one, on submit it will be hidden.

Applying HFM 9.3.1 Service Pack 1 <> has been seen to cause this behaviour due to an issue in the product code.
