Goal

Is it possible to identify the particular scheduled workbook which is associated with the EUL batch database objects?

For example, when a Discoverer workbook is scheduled the following database objects are created:

  • A view is created containing the select statement to create the result tables -

    e.g.EUL5_B070312143115Q1V1

  • A table is created for each run with the results - e.g. EUL5_B070312143115Q1R1

  • A package is created with the run information - e.g. EUL5_BATCH_PACKAGE070312143115

  • A job is created to call package at specified schedule intervals - e.g.EUL5_BATCH_PACKAGE070312143115.RUN

All these objects have the same unique sequence number within the object name.

The objects are created in the schema specified in the Discoverer Administrator under Tools ->
Privileges -> "Scheduled Workbooks" tab -> under  user that "owns the tables which store scheduled workbook results."

There could be many result set tables created under the same schema.

Note: The tables mentioned here should never be manually updated or deleted.
