Symptoms

Users cannot connect with Oracle Discoverer 10g (10.1.2.2) Desktop/Administrator to an applications mode EUL from 5pm to 6pm. 
During this time frame, the connection fails with:

Unable to connect to Oracle Applications database: invalid username/password.



During this time period (5-6pm),


If you change the time on the Windows XP PC to 18:30 (6:30 PM), you can connect without error.
