Users cannot connect with Oracle Discoverer 10g (10.1.2.2) Desktop/Administrator to an applications mode EUL from 5pm to 6pm.
During this time frame, the connection fails with:
During this time period (5-6pm),
- a SQL*Plus connection can be made to the database
Note: This is a database connection, not an E-Business Suite user connection
- an E-Business Suite login can be made via the E-Business Suite login page.
Note: this is middle-tier access, not client server
- an connection can be made to a non-applications mode EUL.
If you change the time on the Windows XP PC to 18:30 (6:30 PM), you can connect without error.
