Symptoms
When you import a large zip file containing reports and folders from another environment, the process gives the Internet Explorer (IE) error:
500: Internal Server Error <Web app server>. java.lang.OutofMemoryError:AllocLargeArray - nnnnnn elements
Then the process hangs.
When you export the folders individually, they import without issue. In the registry, you note that HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE: SOFTWARE: Hyperion Solutions: Financial Reporting: HyS9FRWeb: JVMOption8 and JVMOption9 are not set to the recommended values of 512m and 1024m, respectively.
