After creating a Hyperion Essbase/Planning/HFM Data Server in ODI Topology Manager and testing the connection to the Hyperion server, the following message is signaled :
The issue can also happen when running an interface in which a wrong type of KM (SQL-type KM for Hyperion loading) is used. This is because the Hyperion ( Planning, Essbase, and HFM ) is not using standard JDBC connections, but an adapter / connector, which does not accept standard SQL commands, nor connection through JDBC to the Data Server.
