'There is no RTPs set for rule XYZ' Error When Running Business Rule in Smartview (Doc ID 780518.1)

Symptoms


Some Business Rules (but not all) do not run in Smart View. All Business Rules run in Planning.

Business Rules that do not run in Smart View generate the following error:

"There is no RTPs set for rule RuleName"

The Business Rules use "Hide Prompt" and "Use Members On Form". In Planning web all prompts are hidden. Changing the rule preferences to un-hide the prompts does not affect the problem - the rule still errors in Smart View in the same way.

Building a new rule with exactly the same parameters as the problematic one works. There is no error.
